Luisa Colón Thayer is the creator of I, COMIC and the founder of I COMIC, INC. She is also an author, journalist, editor, and artist.

Luisa is the daughter of famed comic book artist Ernie Colón, whose work appears in I, COMIC alongside other wonderful creators including Amber Akin, Darrian Bennett, Gregory Benton, BoogieREZ, Justin Castaneda, Ernie Colón, Suzan Colón, Jay Cook, Denys Cowan, Valentino Dixon, Jerzy Drozd, Ryan Estrada, Bob Fingerman, Peter Kuper, Dwayne McDuffie, Jared Owens, Dan Mishkin, Rani Som, Adam Suerte, & Greg Thayer.

Luisa is also the author of The Visitor’s Guide to Prison, a handbook for families with incarcerated loved ones.
